Happy Easter

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday! Avery had a visit from the Easter bunny and found all the eggs he had left around the house. We spent a beautiful afternoon outside at the Jochims. Needless to say Avery was worn out.

Dress Up

Avery loves putting on fun outfits - she has a new summer hat, sunglasses, a bright pink vest, and a monkey backpack that she insists on wearing around the house.

She is also in love with the dirt. Wherever we go she finds some good dirt to play in. We have already found many worms!!

Chef Avery

Avery loves to cook dinner with us. We use the awesome chair grandpa made and she stands at the counter with us. Yesterday she was asking to cook so we got out the flour and mixed in some water and let her play! It made a mess but she had fun. 

Family Vacation

Ivan has two weeks off from school so we are taking advantage of the time together. We are visiting Cinncinati and staying at the Great Wolf Lodge. The hotel has a huge indoor water park. We have had a great time relaxing and enjoying Avery. 

Grandpa is awesome

I found this idea on Pinterest and asked my dad if he could make it. It is awesome! Avery helped us cook dinner tonight. She loved whisking the eggs. Many dinners will be made as a family.
