First Steps

Avery took her first (many) steps tonight at Grandma and Grandpa's house with all of us cheering her on. At first she only took a few steps but within about 5 minutes she was walking across the room. She made it look easy!

Contained

This was my new idea for Avery today. All she wants to do is cruise around the furniture. So now she just cruises in a circle and plays with her toys. 

Avery's First Birthday

Sorry this post is week late but it is never to late for some adorable cake pictures. We celebrated Avery's first birthday last weekend with a cookout with family and friends. It was a perfect day and a great party. Avery was not very interested in the cake - she would touch it with only one finger and really only ate the icing.

Ready to Ride

Avery is already enjoying her new bike seat and helmet. So many smiles! 

Birthday weekend

Avery turned 1 on Friday, I turned 31 today, and we celebrated Ivan's 2nd Father's Day. It was a weekend packed with fun. I will try and post some cake pictures soon of Avery. We had a cookout with my parents tonight to celebrate.

8 years of marriage

Ivan and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary today! We are two totally different people than we were 8 years ago but I love him now more than ever. We had a wonderful dinner out downtown and have had a great week hanging out as a family!
